Investors from Turkey, Germany, Russia show interest in Bellegprom companies
Foreign investors are showing interest in the Bellegprom companies, first deputy chairman of the Bellegprom light industry concern, Vladimir Astrovsky, told a press conference.

According to him, an investor from Turkey is interested in the Kamvol company and will possibly take part in the construction of a new worsted mill. A jeans clothing production project is being considered with partners from Turkey. Germany's association of light industry might take part in one of the projects to be implemented by the Baranovichi cotton production association. Russian companies are eyeing Bellegprom's garment factories.

Vladimir Astrovsky said that attracting foreign investors and shareholders is one of the priorities for Bellegprom. The concern currently includes 63 joint stock companies. The transformation of Orsha Linen Mill and Baranovichi cotton production association into joint stock companies have been postponed, as agreed with the government, over the large-scale modernization projects currently underway at these companies.

"We will implement projects with foreign investors only on mutually beneficial terms, and this is why it takes time to work out these projects," Vladimir Astrovsky said.
