The National Exhibition of the Republic of Belarus in Serbia opens in Belgrade on 23 June and will last until June 26. The Expo is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Serbia.

The National Exhibition of the Republic of Belarus takes place in Belgrade for the first time to demonstrate the achievements in science and in different fields of industries. The Exhibition is also targeted to find new partners, to further develop trade and economic ties and strengthen friendly relations among two countries.

This time Bellegprom focuses on linen clothes and articles - as the traditional and national brand of the Republic of Belarus - during the Exhibition. Linen is now very popular in Serbia and other countries thanks to its unique properties as high hygroscopicity, ecology and thermal conductivity.

Bellegprom is presented by five companies at the Expo- Orsha Flax Factory, Dzerzhinsk Garment Factory "Eliz", JSC "Comintern", Ltd. PTF "Svitanak" from Orsha, JSC "Iskozh'.

Export of Bellegprom in Serbia in 1Q2010 was $ 235,400. The companies with the highest export capacity to Serbia in 1Q 2010 were Orsha Flax Factory (linen fabrics $ 7,800), Mogotex OJSC (synthetic and cotton fabrics $ 227,600). Last year export to Serbia was $ 304,800.
